Thanks for your response
1) I tin't sign to any of the Microsoft apps
2) I had previously deleted all Microsoft password entries in the Keychain entries per review of previous posts on this discipline. Same as all occurrences of ADAL
3) did uninstall and reinstall all apps
4) Still getting error
I don't know what version of office I accept because I can't log in. It was just downloaded from the MS site.
MAC SW version is 10.15.7
All the office applications take the same problem

The only option that worked was to create a new user account.
Why is that? I actually don't desire to have that as a solution. How practise I drift all my one-time user files and data to the new user?
